Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction


These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and guidelines for clients attending Bind Movement group or private classes. By booking or attending any of our classes, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Booking and Cancellation Policy

Booking: All classes must be booked in advance through our online booking system. Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.


Cancellation: Clients can cancel or reschedule their booking up to 48 hours before the class start time. Cancellations or changes made within 48 hours will not be refunded or credited.


No-Show Policy: If you do not attend a booked class and fail to cancel within the 48-hour window, you will forfeit the class fee.


3. Health and Safety

Medical Conditions: Clients must inform the instructor of any medical conditions, injuries, or other health issues that may affect their ability to participate in classes. It is the client's responsibility to ensure they are medically fit to participate. If a client is pregnant or postpartum, they must provide written consent from their healthcare provider confirming they are cleared to partake in classes.

Assumption of Risk: By attending classes, clients acknowledge and accept the risks associated with physical exercise. Bind Movement is not liable for any injuries sustained during classes.


4. Class Etiquette

Punctuality: Please arrive at least 10 minutes before a group or private class starts. Late arrivals may not be admitted to the class to avoid disruption.


Personal Belongings: The studio is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings. Please keep your valuables secure.


Conduct: Clients are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors and and or fellow participants. Disruptive behaviour may result in being asked to leave the class.


5. Payment and Fees

Payment Methods: We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and other electronic payment methods as specified on our website.


Refunds: Payments for classes, workshops, and memberships are non-refundable, except in cases of studio-initiated cancellations.


Memberships: Memberships and class packages are non-transferable and must be used within the specified time frame.


6. Changes to Schedule or Classes


Bind Movemeny reserves the right to make changes to the class schedule, including substituting instructors, changing class formats, or canceling classes as necessary. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.

7. Privacy Policy


We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and store your data.

8. Amendments to Terms and Conditions


The studio reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law


These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in South Africa.

  • Where are classes based?
    Bind Movement group classes are held at The Hellenic Club in Mouille Point (24 Basy Road) For private classes, I offer the flexibility to come to your home or The Hellenic Club in Mouille Point.
  • What types of classes are offered?
    We offer a variety of classes to suit different needs and fitness levels: Beginner Classes – perfect if you're new to Pilates or returning after a break Mixed Level Classes – designed to build strength, flexibility, and control with more dynamic movement suitable for strong beginner / intermediate level Prenatal Pilates – tailored for pregnant women to move safely, stay strong, and support their changing bodies. Each class blends elements of Pilates, functional strength, and mindful movement to help you feel strong, balanced, and connected to your body.
  • What should I bring to class?
    For group and private classes, all mats and equipment are provided. Please bring a water bottle, and a towel along if you sweat a lot.
  • How do I book a class?
    You can easily book classes online through our website or on the Spaces app. We offer options to book a single class, as well as private and group class packs.
  • Can I do private class with a friend?
    Absolutely! We offer private classes for individuals or small groups (up to 4 people)
  • What if I have an injury or a specific health condition?
    Your safety is my top priority. If you have an injury or health condition, please ensure you've been cleared to exercise by your doctor or physiotherapist before booking a class. Once cleared, kindly let me know ahead of time so I can adapt movements to support your needs and ensure a safe, effective session. If you're managing a more complex condition or would prefer more individualised attention, private sessions may be a better fit and can be fully tailored to your body and goals.
